The action of the play is set in ‘Long Autumn’, a home for retired ‘theatricals’, but mainly in Time and Space. Initially at least, the irrepressible, ever-cheerful Maisie copes with the rigours of Long Autumn in her own inimitable style, but she becomes increasingly depressed. Then one day a breezy impresario, Chris, arrives with big plans for Maisie…

There won’t be an interval in the play but we will have the bar open before and after the performance and we hope you’ll join us afterwards when the cast and other members of the Players will be there for you to meet.

The proceeds of this performance will be donated to Church Stretton ‘Ring and Ride’ and we are delighted to be able to support this widely used and much appreciated provision in the Strettons – we hope you will join us for this performance.
